Chain Conveyor

Chain conveyors are a type of industrial equipment that uses a circulating chain as the core traction and load-bearing component-sometimes paired with slats, mesh belts, scrapers, or hoppers. Powered by a motor and reducer combo, sprockets drive the chain to run nonstop along guide rails, making it possible to move lumpy, granular, bulk, or packaged materials continuously. You'll see these things pop up a lot in all sorts of heavy and light industrial setups.

Main Components: Drive unit (motor + reducer + drive sprocket), chain, sprocket, frame, guide rail, tensioning device, seal/cover, electrical control system.

Work Process: The motor sends out power, which gets slowed down by the reducer before turning the drive sprocket. That makes the chain loop around in a closed circuit. Materials sitting on the chain itself or its attachments-like chain plates, hoppers, scrapers-move right along with it, and then get unloaded wherever they're supposed to. The tensioning device fixes up chain wear and stretch as it happens, no delays.
