A complete set of 3 tons per hour automatic poultry feed pellet production line has finished container loading and departed for West Java, Indonesia, delivered to a local large poultry farming group. This project enables the client to build an independent feed mill, cut high costs of purchased commercial feed, and realize integrated breeding & self-feed supply. It marks another benchmark overseas project for our machinery brand in Indonesia's livestock industry.
Indonesia has a booming poultry and aquaculture sector with over 270 million residents. Large-scale farms are upgrading outdated small processing equipment. Most local farmers utilize cassava, palm kernel meal, corn and rice bran as raw materials. Conventional cheap pellet machines suffer high powder rate, easy pellet mildew, high energy consumption and poor corrosion resistance under tropical humid weather.
The Indonesian buyer contacted our team via Google organic search. After two months of technical negotiation, solution comparison and factory online inspection, the customer confirmed the full turnkey feed mill solution.
Key Equipment of The Production Line
The whole line is optimized for Indonesia's high temperature and humid climate and local raw materials:
Hammer Mill: Heavy-duty type with wearable hammers, suitable for crushing palm meal, cassava residue, corn and bran; equipped with pulse dust removal system.
Double Shaft Paddle Mixer: Mixing uniformity CV ≤5%, convenient for premix and trace element addition.
Ring Die Feed Pellet Mill: Equipped with 3 sets of ring dies (4mm/6mm/8mm) to produce feed for broilers, layers and ducks. The main motor supports long-time continuous operation under high ambient temperature.
Counter-Flow Cooler & Screener: Reduce pellet temperature and moisture efficiently to avoid mildew in rainy seasons. Fine broken pellets can be recycled to maximize raw material utilization.
Automatic Packing Scale: 50kg bag packaging, matching local storage and transportation habits.
The whole line can run 24 hours continuously. Finished pellets own proper hardness and good water stability to improve feed conversion ratio. All frames adopt hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion treatment. The electric control cabinet is moisture-proof to adapt unstable local power grid. We supply English operation manuals, maintenance drawings and online remote technical support.

The client manager commented: Buying commercial feed brings huge logistics expenditure. After our feed mill is put into operation, we will make full use of low-cost local palm meal and cassava. The production cost per ton of feed is expected to drop by 12%–18%. The feed will firstly supply our own 250,000 layer farm, and later sell feed to surrounding farmers.
